This blog is to keep our family and friends updated on my husbands condition. This is also a place for me to get some blog therapy. My name is Amanda and my husband is Ron. He was diagnosed last year with Central Nervous System Vasculitis and our entire life was turned upside down. Thanks for reading.

Ron has been cleared to return to work!
Ron had his monthly doc visit Tuesday and she cleared him to return to work! He has an appointment with his company doctor Wednesday to confirm he can go back. He is so excited!! This was the news we were hoping for! We celebrated by spending the day with my sister and our nephew. Finally some positive change for a little while!

This is wonderful news Amanda! Vasculitis recently became a part of my life and I'm just at that point that I'm researching online to see what's what. I truly appreciate the how wonderful it must be to have news that makes life more 'normal'. I wish you guys the best of health.
I'm so glad to hear that there is hope. I have been diagnosed with CNS Vasculitis. I'm been doing the routine treatments but not having any luck. I just recently found a doctor at MD Anderson that will see next week. I did not have the stroke problem, my issues are more of the mental issues and loosing the feeling in my legs. I started my chemo about a year ago and then put on Cellcept which didn't work. I am now back on the chemo but the symptoms are getting worse.
From your story - I feel there is hope especially at time when things just seem to be getting worse.
